Welcome to your DocuSigner Dashboard! This is your main workspace where you can manage documents, track their status, access account settings, and more. Let's take a tour of its key components.

On the left side of your screen (on desktop view), you'll find the main navigation sidebar. This is your primary way to access different sections of the application:
- Dashboard: Takes you back to the main dashboard overview page.
- Upload Document: Start the process of uploading a new PDF for signing.
- My Documents: This often expands to show sub-sections like:
- All Documents: View every document you have access to.
- Pending My Signature: Documents awaiting your signature.
- Completed: Documents that have been fully signed by all parties.
- Templates: (Premium Feature) Access and manage your document templates.
- Contacts: Manage your list of contacts for easy addressing of documents.
- Settings: Access your profile, account security, notification preferences, and billing information.
- Help & Support: Find FAQs, guides, and ways to contact our support team.
On mobile devices, this sidebar might be accessed via a "menu" or "hamburger" icon.
Quick Actions / Overview Area
The main content area of the dashboard typically provides an overview of your recent activity and quick access to common actions:
- "Upload New Document" Button: A prominent button to quickly start a new document workflow.
- Document Summary Cards: You might see sections or cards displaying a summary of your documents by status (e.g., "Pending Your Signature," "Recently Completed").
- Setup Progress: If you're a new user, you might see a progress bar or checklist guiding you through initial setup steps like completing your profile or uploading your first document.
- Search and Filters: Tools to search for specific documents or filter them by name, status, date, or participants.
Header Bar
At the top of the screen, the header bar usually contains:
- Search Bar: (May also be here) A quick way to search across your documents.
- Notifications: An icon (often a bell) indicating new notifications, such as when a document is signed or viewed. Clicking this usually opens a list of recent notifications.
- User Profile/Account Menu: Your avatar or name, which, when clicked, opens a dropdown menu with links to your Profile, Settings, and a Logout option.
Document List / Cards
When you navigate to a document list (e.g., "All Documents," "Pending"), you'll typically see your documents displayed as a list or as individual cards. Each entry will show key information like:
- Document Name
- Current Status (Pending, Signed, Completed, etc.)
- Participants involved
- Last Modified Date
- Quick actions (e.g., Open, Edit, Share, Delete) often accessible via a "more options" (three dots) menu.
